Peter Adams' Gold Medal winning painting, "Prajnaparamita, Perfection of Wisdom"

Peter Adams received “Best of Show” honors at the California Art Club’s 96th Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition held in during the month of April of 2007 at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. Adams’ artist peers selected him to receive the honor for his still-life painting of the mysterious Asian-inspired work titled, Prajnaparamita, Perfection of Wisdom.

A panel of art experts and museum curators selected 170 works to be included in the exhibition of contemporary-traditional fine art. Peter Adams has served as the California Art Club’s President since 1993. About winning the coveted award Adams said, “I feel highly honored and humbled to be recognized by artists that I respect.”
