Artist Statement
"Sadly, this particular scene no longer exists due to recent winter storms that have uprooted many of the stately old cypress trees at Point Lobos. However, the area is preserved as one of California's State Natural Reserves. The bordering sea otters and turquoise blue waters add to the tranquility of this special place, which makes this spot a favorite for me to paint."
