"Not many of my fellow artists decided to paint here, most seemed to congregate near the sycamore grove where I ended up a few days later. I loved the road driving the eye into the vista, I was basically alone with my paints and the vista, and the wonderful combinations of cool greens and warm pine needles made for great color harmony."
