“This painting trip to Guangzhou represented my first visit to China, and was both exciting and magical. This trip to draw and paint the river boats was one of the first places we visited, and it was exciting to see not only the visual variety of shape and texture, but also the cultural reality of daily lives being led on the banks of this river.” —David Dibble
