Consignor Statement
“Bob Wood lived next door to my grandfather's cabin in Green Valley Lake. We would go up to the cabin several times a year, whether to sail on the lake or just see the snow. Bob gave this painting to my grandfather; I don't know if any money exchanged hands. My grandfather had a lot of his works. After my grandfather's death in the 1990s, these works passed to his widow and his children, one of whom is my mother. My mother gave me the painting in 2009 because she didn't have the space for it anymore.”
