Description The title, Il Bambino (The Baby), suggests this bronze portrait sculpture depicts an infant. However, the work brilliantly represents a duo interpretation. With a pudgy face, protruding ears, and a swirl of hair over the forehead, the subject simultaneously appears as a baby and as an adult. Is this a baby with an old soul or an adult who hasn't grown up?
