Artist Statement
"Fireworks, an aerial celebration of shimmering explosions that burst across the night sky. With each
explosion, a magnificent display of shapes and lights appear at the pinnacle in a rainbow of colors,
then fall and fade into darkness leaving behind a swirling cloud of smoke. I have found something
ethereal and mysterious in them. Painting fireworks and capturing these fleeting aerial acts has
become a celebration of the human spirit. Each one is unlike the next and their unique journey
provides endless variations within this mystical and celebratory theme."
