Description
Lake Winnemucca is located south from Carson Pass trailhead via Pacific Crest Trail near Markleeville, California, and crosses the Sierra Nevada crest about 30 miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe. Winnemucca Lake is the site of the oldest petroglyphs in North America.
