Description This pastoral scene was created from a private ranch in Northern California in the city of Redding. Alexey Steele was fascinated with the grandeur of the old California oak: “I felt inspired from the very morning of that day when I awoke on the ranch. Observing the landscape with its gently rolling hills and scattered oaks, everything seemed very serene and balanced. As I continued observing the scene from a distance, I noticed the cows slowly moving under this stately oak, appearing like big dark immovable boulders, becoming a perfect complement to the old oak tree. Together, they formed a perfect composition.”
