Description
A work done en plein air while the artist was visiting the island of Maui, the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands. This painting was created along Highway 30 at Honokahua Bay looking towards the island of Molokai in the distance. Here, Mian Situ chose to capture Maui’s rugged west shore with its sweeping views, steep precipice and crashing waves.
