Artist Statement
"Market St. is the main boulevard that separates the city and runs east to west from Glen Canyon Park to the [San Francisco] Bay. In the distance is the famous Ferry Building, where evacuees passed through as they escaped the fires of the 1904 Earthquake, to be ferried over to Berkeley. Now, it houses shops, restaurants and a weekly Farmers Market."
