Commission Project for Private Club
George C. Thomas, Jr. (1873-1932), the American-born golf course architect, designed more than 20 courses in California, including Riviera Country Club and the North Course at the Los Angeles Country Club. He was a Captain in United States Army Air Service in World War I and a horticulturist who hybridized the “Thomas Rose." He also raised English setters.
