Artist Statement
"I love painting Los Angeles. As a third generation native Angeleno, I am familiar with so much of the history of this diverse city and I have a special attraction to the older neighborhoods and the beautiful older architecture. This view, deep in the canyons of downtown in the early morning, is from an overnight painting trip this past year. The Jewelry District is just beginning to wake up, ready for another busy day."
