"This painting features the dramatic afternoon light on the cliffs beneath Shoreline Park in Santa Barbara. I loved the shapes of the interconnected shadows and the feeling of coastal atmosphere. I was honored that this painting received the Plein Air Magazine Award of Excellence at the 15th Annual American Impressionist Society National Exhibition held in Denver, Colorado."
