Artist Statement
"The Mammoth Lakes area has always been a great source of inspiration for me. While wintering at the Tamarack Lodge years ago, I painted a series of locations sketches of the original wooden bridge on Twin Lakes. As an artist, many times it is intriguing to imply our relationship with nature without including humans in the painting. In the case, the bridge is suggestion enough of our presence, acknowledging the powerful existence of beauty."
