"It was late February in the cold, fresh air, tinged with the fragrance of pine. I pushed through the cold to reach this place as the sun skimmed across the distant peaks. I stopped to take the beauty in and consider the peoples who were here before me, the Coeur d’Alene's, who lived this land daily."
