Artist Statement
“As I stood on a hill above a secluded glen looking towards the east, I saw the Tehachapi Mountains bathed in an Alpenglow. A deep sense of reverence washed over me as I witnessed the reddish tones of the mountains in the distance complemented by the deep greens in the small hidden valley below. The interplay of light and shadow, the vibrant hues painting the mountains, and the quiet stillness of the surroundings coalesced into a moment of divine harmony. I sought to convey this profound sense of awe and spiritual connection in my painting and to invite the viewer to contemplate the sacredness of nature's quiet places.”
