Artist Statement
"This was such a fun one to paint. I was in Havana with a large group of artists and I split off from them for the day to go paint on my own and explore. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this car while I was painting. He was super excited to show me his collection of paintings that his uncle had done, I wanted to go with him, but was more concerned about all my gear and camera. So he called his son over to watch my things for me. Next thing I know I'm getting a tour of the house to see his uncle’s artwork, then he takes me to the church across the street to see more of is work. So, glad I went out on my own that day!"
