This oil painting was created en plein air in the backyard of the artist’s home in North Hills, California in March 2020. Framed in heavy walnut-stained with satin black inner liner.

“A section of my backyard is dominated by a grand wisteria that threatens to crush an old swing set unless I prune it back in the dormant season. Each spring the sweet fragrance briefly lingers in the air and its beauty inspires me to paint the subject."
